HOODZ is a game, made for fun. It is not an investment or a financial product. Nothing in the game promises any profit or income. Only spend what you are happy to spend on a game.
1. Who we are
HOODZ is an independent project, made and run by an independent developer. In these terms, "we" means whoever runs HOODZ and "you" means the player.
Contact: the in-game Support (menu ☰ → Support). We answer every request there, including questions about these terms and about your data.
2. The basics
These terms are a contract between you and us. By opening or playing HOODZ you accept them and our Privacy Policy.
You must be 18 or older, and playing (including any purchases or conversions) must be allowed where you live. You are responsible for checking this.
You play with your Telegram account. One account per person; accounts are personal and can't be sold, shared or transferred.
3. Game items
Gold, gems, fighters, gear, crates, respect, ranks, street control, titles and everything else in the game are virtual game items. We give you a personal, revocable licence to use them in the game. You don't own them.
They have no guaranteed monetary value. They are not money, e-money, savings, a security or an investment, and they can't be exchanged for money except through the optional feature in section 5, within its limits.
Gang, street, Battle Royale and event rewards are game items too. Rankings, rewards and titles follow the rules shown in the game at the time.
HOODZ is a live game. We may change, rebalance or remove features, rules, rewards, prices and items to keep it fair and running. We'll try to give notice of important changes.
4. Purchases
You can buy in-game gold by sending GRAM (Toncoin, the TON network's coin) to the game. The amount of gold you get is shown in the game before you send. The gold is credited after the transfer is confirmed on the blockchain.
Right of withdrawal: as a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract. For digital content supplied immediately, this right ends once the supply starts. By completing a purchase you ask us to credit the gold straight away and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once it is credited.
Blockchain transfers can't be undone. Check the address, network and amount before you send. We can't recover transfers sent to a wrong address or network.
If a purchase is not credited, contact Support with the transaction details. Your legal rights for faulty or undelivered digital content are not affected.
The value of GRAM changes. We are not responsible for changes in the price of any cryptocurrency.
5. Converting gems
The game may let you convert gems and send them to your TON wallet. This is an optional extra feature, not a right, a promise or a guarantee of value.
Conversions follow the rate, fee, minimums and limits shown in the game at that moment. They can change, and the rate depends on the game's treasury.
We may delay, limit, refuse or pause conversions, for example for security checks, suspected cheating, multiple accounts, legal requirements or technical problems, and we may ask for information needed to comply with the law.
Any taxes on your activity are your responsibility.
6. Ads
You can choose to watch rewarded ads from third-party networks (such as Adsgram and Monetag) for in-game rewards. Watching ads is optional. Ad content is the responsibility of the advertiser and the ad network, and they process data under their own policies (see the Privacy Policy). Rewards are only given for ads the network confirms.
7. Fair play
No bots, scripts, automation, modified apps, exploits or bug abuse. Report bugs to Support instead.
No multiple accounts, account trading, or arranging fights, wars or Battle Royale results between accounts.
No trading outside the game and no passing value between accounts. You may not buy, sell or swap accounts, fighters, gear, gold or gems outside the game (for money or anything else), and you may not use the market to pass gold, gems, fighters or gear to another account, for example selling something far above or below its value to a friend or a second account.
If you break these rules we may, depending on how serious it is: remove items or rewards gained unfairly, remove you from a gang, a war or a Battle Royale, restrict features, or suspend or close the account. You can contact Support if you disagree.
8. Chat, names and your content
Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content, scams, spam, advertising or links in gang names, mottos, the player chat or gang chat. Links are blocked automatically in the player chat.
The player chat is public to other players and its messages are deleted automatically after 48 hours. Gang chat is visible to the members of your gang and is deleted after 14 days. We may hide or delete names, mottos or messages, and mute or ban players who break the rules.
You keep your rights in what you write and give us the permission needed to show it in the game and to moderate it.
9. Your account
Keep your Telegram account and wallet safe. We will never ask for your seed phrase or private keys.
You can stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your account through Support. Deleting your account removes your crew and items for good.
We may end or suspend the service, or close accounts that break these terms. If we close the game for good, we'll announce it in advance in the game.
10. Availability and liability
We work to keep HOODZ running, but it may have bugs, downtime or changes, and it depends on third parties such as Telegram, wallets, blockchains and ad networks.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, crypto price changes, or problems caused by those third parties.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or removes any rights you have as a consumer under the law.
11. Complaints and disputes
Talk to us first: open a request in the in-game Support (menu ☰ → Support). We answer as soon as we can.
In Portugal you can also use the electronic Complaints Book: livroreclamacoes.pt.
Consumers can use alternative dispute resolution, for example CNIACC, Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (cniacc.pt).
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can go to the courts there.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. We'll tell you in the game about important changes; if you keep playing after that, the new version applies. If you don't agree, you can stop playing and ask us to delete your account.
